Team selection / Player Grading Day RSVP Sunday 4th October 2026 (U/11, U/13, U/15 Players only) Information and registration

Dear families,

We will be holding our club grading day on Sunday 4th October 2026. This is an opportunity for our senior coaches to have a look at all players across an entire age group to help them put together teams for the Summer 2027 Season. Participation is strongly encouraged as this is one of the major inputs into team selections for next season.

Please note that there will no grading for the U/9 teams.

Registrations will strictly close on Wednesday 30th September 2026, to allow for rotations to be drawn up.

A confirmation email will be sent to registered players on Thursday 1st October 2026.
If your child cannot attend grading day but wants to continue playing netball next season, please send us a short email stating this at newportpowernetball@gmail.com

ALL PLAYERS ARE EXPECTED TO GRADE IN THEIR OWN AGE GROUP.

Session 1
11 and Under
Arrive at 8.45am to check in and get number
Session runs from 9am-10.30am
11 and Under - Must not turn 12 on or before the 27th June 2027 to be eligible to play in U/11's.


Session 2
13 and Under
Arrive at 10.15am to check in and get number
Session runs from 10.30am - 12.00pm
Must not turn 14 on or before the 27th June 2027 to be eligible to play in U/13's.


Session 3
15 and Under
Arrive at 11.45am to check in and get number
Session runs from 12.00pm-1.30pm
Must not turn 16 on or before the 27th June 2027 to be eligible to play in U/15's.


**We will not be grading our U/9 players.

ON THE DAY:
What to wear: Runners, comfortable shorts and a t-shirt or singlet. Don't forget your water bottle.

Please ensure that your child arrives 15 minutes before the start time, to allow for signing in and warm ups.

We will be running two courts simultaneously, to allow each player to participate in a minimum of two rounds.

There is no cost for entry into the stadium.
